chi chi la!

WEEK 27: March 27, 2017

Miry and Nelson helped give a Bday shout out to Sis. Lees Mom
Holyyyy cannot believe it´s already Monday again! How are ya´ll doin?? This week was good! Sis Lee and I are continuing to work hard and are looking forward to the wedding and baptism this next weekend for Ronise and Elton!! They continue to amaze me and I know they will be great members. They almost have everything ready for the wedding, and their baptismal interview is tomorrow! PLEASE continue to keep them in your prayers.

Not much happened this week, but it´s starting to get super hot here. I better be a nice bronze color by the time i get back :)  Our ward did have a Family History activity this past Saturday though and it went super well. We were able to bring our pesquisadors, Miry and Nelson, and help them create accounts to start doing family history. It was awesome to see Miry get so excited about finding her ancestors and eventually helping them recieve ordinances in the temple. It        just strengthened my testimony on how incredibly important it is for us to do family history. Yes, it can be boring at times. BUT, by doing so, we are helping the Kindom of the Lord grow. Not all of us can have a missionary tag on, but we can do missionary work by doing family history. So get on that family (; As for the title, a little girl in relief society decided to pee allllll over the floor and then proceeded to yell `chi chi la!´ which translates to `pee pee there!` hahaha it was the funniest thing ever. Children...

I love you all SO much and hope things are going well back home. I´m so grateful for this gospel and for all the many things I am learning out here. It´s so hard at times, but also SO worth it. I wouldn´t want to be anywhere else. I know our Savior loves each and every one of us, and wants us to be happy in this life. BUT, we must do our part. aka read our scriptures, pray, go to church, etc. Only through doing these things will we be truly happy and come closer to the Lord. Have a fab week. And never take for granted chips and salsa!!! SAUDADES (Miss You)

Much love Sis. Jorgensen xoxo
